Today was our final leg of the journey home. We slept in this morning after yesterday's long travel day and were on the road by 9:00 a.m. The skies were heavy with clouds and we drove through some rain and fog--the first bad weather of our entire trip.

We arrived in Fargo, ND around noon and stopped for some lunch and to take a little break. It was then back on the road for the final couple of hours of driving. Since we had cleaned out the fridge before we left, we stopped at a grocery store to pick up a couple of things to tide us over until we can do some major re-stocking.

As we pulled into our driveway, the first thing I noticed was that my flower pots looked great. I was afraid I would come home to dead, dried up plants. The second thing we both noticed was how high the grass had grown. After unloading the car, John decided to cut some grass since it wasn't raining. He got most of it mowed before dark.

The evening was spent opening and reading the mail and starting the job of unpacking. It sure feels good to be home again.
