Our hot weather continued today and we're suppose to have record heat and humidity for tomorrow.  The big storm that went through last evening hit the Bemidji area pretty hard with 70 mile per hour winds.  There are still quite a few folks without power and the call has gone out for volunteers to help clear roads, etc. of fallen trees.  We feel very fortunate that we were on the north side of that storm.

John and I did get our walk in this morning even though it was pretty warm early this morning.  After breakfast, John spent time in the shop working on tables and a few other projects he has in mind.  I continued working on fair pictures and this afternoon made a trip to town and got them printed.  Now I have to find matting and frames for them.

We discovered we were out of buns, so after supper we made another trip into town to the grocery store and before heading home,  stopped at the local ice cream stand for a couple of milk shakes.  It wasn't DQ but when it's hot, all ice cream tastes good.
