We got a break with the weather today as the temps and humidity were much more tolerable which made our morning walk very enjoyable.  Unfortunately, the hot, dry weather is forecast to return tomorrow and last for a while.  John and I were commenting on the fact that we have never run our AC for such a long, continuous time.  Usually we run it for a couple of days, and then the weather cools down, and we turn if off.  That's not the case this summer.

This morning John cut up the limbs he trimmed off the trees in our yard the other day.  He then did some re-stacking of the wood pile and took care of a few other outside chores.  I spent some time taking photos and trying out different settings on my camera.  Our Tiger Lilies are beginning to bloom and made a pretty subject to photograph.

Around noon we left for Bemidji to take the Honda in for servicing as the AC was giving us some trouble.  The dealership gave us a loaner and we headed off to BK for lunch and then stopped at Wal Mart so I could print out a few photos for Rachel's fair entry.  We also did some shopping at  K Mart and Menards.  After about two and a half hours the Honda was ready to be picked up and we headed back home.  It actually cooled off enough this evening that we turned off the AC and opened the windows for the first time in days.  I'm sure the AC will be running again tomorrow.
