The hot weather out to the west of us finally arrived overnight.  The temperature was almost 70 degrees at 7 a.m. and made for a warm walk.

Today was the warmest for us so far this summer with a high in the low 90's. After church, John and I pretty much spent the day relaxing and watching the PGA and Olympic trials while staying in the cool AC.  It was just too hot to be doing anything outside.  The weather service has issued a heat advisory for our area through Thursday.

This evening John went out and watered the flower pots while I took a few photos of things in the garden.

Roses blooming in front of house

 Cherries beginning to ripen

 Our future grape juice
