Just a quick update.  We left the fort at 5:30 a.m. Easter Sunday morning and ventured up I-35 instead of our regular route of 277 out of Del Rio.  Everett was right, if you leave early on a Sunday morning you won't hit much traffic.  We sailed right along and reached Blackwell, OK. twelve hours later.  This morning we left around 6:30 a.m. and arrived in Brookings, SD close to 5:30 p.m.  We have had sunny skies and dry roads all the way.  We have about a 5-6 hour drive tomorrow before reaching home and the mountains of snow.  As we traveled north, Spring completely disappeared by the middle of Oklahoma and now we only see winter brown and no green at all.  The temps also dropped the further north we traveled.  Low tonight is going to be 19 degrees.  We already miss the Texas warmth and we've only be gone two days.  Tomorrow promises to be an adventure once we reach home.
