Today was the Pacesetters basketball tournament in Frazee, MN which is about two hours south of our home.  Matt, Sam, and Hanna picked us up around 9 a.m. and we drove for about an hour in a heavy snowfall which only allowed us to drive about 30-40 mph.  We saw the car in front of us spin out of control and hit the ditch.  Matt stopped to check on the driver, but she was fine and was on her cell phone calling her husband.  Needless to say, it was white knuckle driving.  The further south we went, the better the conditions became and we finally got out of the snow and bad roads.

Sam and two other Clearbrook boys were recruited to play on the Bagley team and practiced with them a couple of times a week.  They had a bye for the first game and then played three other ones.  The team won their first game, lost the second by 8 points, and the third by three points.  I thought they did a good job considering they hadn't played together during the basketball season.  The boys will play in another Pacesetters tournament in a couple of weeks.  We stopped at BK for some supper on the way out of town and were glad to see the roads nice and dry.  It was a long day of basketball, but John and I had a great time watching the games.
