Dave, our son-in-law, preaches each Sunday at a little country church right outside of Sioux Falls--I think this is part of his seminary training. This morning everyone was up on time and we headed off for Sunday service to hear Dave speak.

It was a real scorcher today, so after church we spent
most of the afternoon in the AC. Following lunch, Isaiah opened his birthday presents and then we sang Happy Birthday while he blew out the candles on his cupcakes.

The rest of the afternoon was spent playing games on the Wii--I beat John on the golf game. Probably the only kind of golf I can win against him. Isaiah chose a birthday dinner of hotdogs and macaroni and cheese and after everything ate their fill, we headed off to one of the many pools in town to cool off with an evening of swimming. We've had a great visit with the kids and will head back up north tomorrow.

Happy Birthday to JD, too--he and Isaiah share their special day.
