Winter returned today. When we got up this morning the temperature was 34 degrees, looking like more rain, and very windy. The wind chill was in the upper 20's so we decided not to walk. Both John and Matt had called yesterday asking John to help them again this week.

At first John thought he would be working in the shop today and then, tomorrow, for Matt. However, Matt had a change of plans and needed John's help this afternoon. So after breakfast John went down to the shop to make parts. He was back up in the house around noon, ate a quick lunch, and headed off for Matt's job--installing a new hardwood floor. Matt wanted John to cut all the pieces as he measured and installed the boards. They should be able to finish up the floor tomorrow. John says he doesn't mind working for the boys since the weather has been so miserable--too cold and wet to do any outside work at all.

While John was gone all day, I took advantage of the peace and quiet to get the laundry done and get some more things sorted for the rummage sale. I was also able to get more of my puzzle put together. John got home nice and early so we were able to have supper on time. Spent the evening watching some Dancing with the Stars and catching up on emails and blogs.
