The cold and cloudy weather stayed around for another day. The temp was 39 degrees when we left the house so we had to bundle up for our walk this morning.

After breakfast, John went over to Metcalf's to install the sink plug he picked up yesterday and to drill a hole for some lights. When he finished up with those two little jobs, he went over to Sandwick's to ask Dave a couple of more questions he had about capping his tooth. When John got there, he found that their heat pump wasn't working, so he and Dave, along with a couple neighbors, worked on the unit to see if they could find the source of the problem. Seems an electrical part is malfunctioning, so they called a local heating business to come and replace the part.

Dave answered John's questions about his tooth, so when he came home, he called the dentist and has an appointment in little over a week to get it capped. With the weather still so cold, I just worked on finances and got just about all the tax information ready to be sent to our accountant. It always feels good to get that job out of the way. Following supper, John picked up Tim Miner and they went off to wood carvers for the evening. I stayed nice and warm at home starting a new book on my Kindle.
