John and Stan headed off to a house auction at 7:30 this morning, so we had to skip our walk. Since it was pretty cold this morning (29 degrees), I was happy to stay in a nice warm bed and sleep in for once.

With it being so chilly, it wasn't a good day for outside activities so we ended spending most of the day in the house. John got a little bored this afternoon, so he decided to go over to Wallace's place and start his new carving project--an elf face. While he was gone, I baked some cookies, straightened up around the house, and started a new Kindle book. Our weekend looks to be pretty busy, so it doesn't hurt to have a quiet day once in a while.
