The colder weather that was forecast came through today. The day started off nice and sunny, but by the afternoon clouds came in and the temps cooled off. We actually had some much needed rain showers this evening.

After our walk this morning, John fixed a nice breakfast of bacon, eggs, and toast. We lingered over breakfast before getting cleaned up and heading off to the golf course. Since the weather was suppose to turn bad, we thought we might as well get a game of golf in while we could. We were both very happy with how we played today--both of us had some real nice shots.

This afternoon Gene and Jeannie Bevins stopped in and we visited with them for several hours. It was fun to hear about what they have been doing and to catch up on each other's news. We had just finished watching the Seahawks beat the Saints when there was a knock on our door--Tim and Mary Ellen Miner are back in town. Now the fun will begin!!
