Finally, warmer weather. That's right, today was sunny with warm breezes and sunshine and, would you believe, the one morning we decided to sleep in and skip the walk. After walking every morning in cold temps and mist, we skip the day with sunshine. I think we must have misread the weather forecast last night.

We took our time eating breakfast, got cleaned up, and headed off to church. Following the service, we had lunch and then went to play some golf--we hadn't played since last Sunday and our game today certainly showed it. We are suppose to play on the big course tomorrow with some friends and I hope we both do better than we did today

Our friend, John Carlson, who bought and remodeled a place, was having an open house this afternoon, so on our way home from golf, we stopped to tour his place. While there we visited with some other folks who also dropped in to see the house. Next, we stopped at Wallace's so John could pick up a snowman blank for wood carvers and, as usual, ended up talking with him for a while. Final stop was Sandwick's to pick up a couple of jigsaw puzzels and then we hit the road back to our house.

We got home in time to watch most of the Jets game and spent the remainder of the evening reading and watching a couple favorite TV shows. I must say it felt good to spend time outside in the warm sunshine again.
