There was such a beautiful sunrise this morning when we left the house for our morning walk that I ran back inside to grab my camera. The sky is usually clear with no clouds, so today's sunrise was an unusual sight and worth capturing.


As we were heading out on our walk, we saw a sign for a garage sale and thought we would stop and investigate it on our way back. We were a few minutes early for the sale and got the deal of the day. We found a brand new recliner (tags still on it) for $50. We asked the owner if he would hold it for us until we walked home, got the car and cash, and came back. He said "No problem". Our living area now has another comfortable chair.


Following a quick lunch, we headed off once again to play some golf. We had a fair game today--not as good as yesterday. When we got back home, I made a macaroni salad to take to the condo party this afternoon. So many of the Winter Texans are back now and we had quite a crowd. There was plenty of good food and all seemed to have a good time.

We settled into a quiet evening of TV and reading. The weather is suppose to turn cold over the next few days, so we were glad for the nice one we had today.
